The highly anticipated Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is set to be a spine-chilling extravaganza this year, featuring a lineup of terrifying attractions that promise to thrill and scare attendees.
One of the main highlights of this year's event is the return of award-winning artist The Weeknd with an all-new experience titled 'The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy.' This immersive haunted house, created in collaboration with Universal Studios' creative team, will offer fans an authentic horror experience filled with surprises at every turn.
In addition to The Weeknd's Nightmare Trilogy, attendees can also look forward to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original 1974 slasher film with a brand new narrative. The haunted house will take guests through an abandoned slaughterhouse, where they will encounter various versions of Leatherface from the franchise's nine films.
Blumhouse Productions will also be featured prominently at this year's Halloween Horror Nights with Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, offering attendees a terrifying journey through scenes from popular horror films like M3GAN, The Black Phone, Freaky, The Purge, and Happy Death Day.
Other attractions at the event include Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, Insidious: The Further, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, A Quiet Place, Monstruous 2: The Nightmares of Latin America, and Dead Exposure: Death Valley. Multiple scare zones will be scattered throughout the park to keep guests on edge between attractions.
The event is set to kick off at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with Universal Orlando Resort starting a few days earlier on Friday, August 30, 2024. Tickets for both events are currently available for purchase.
