Max George admitted the worst part of his time on Strictly Come Dancing was the build up to the live shows.
The Wanted's Max George joined the Loose Women panel to discuss his participation in the upcoming Strictly Live tour. Accompanied by Coronation Street actress Maisie Smith, the former ballroom stars explained what it was like to be in the BBC competition.
Welcomed on to set by the Strictly theme tune, Max declared it gives him "nightmares" to hear again. The sudden admission stunned presenter Kaye Adams who asked why he felt that way. Max said: "When we do this show, it's the opening and [the sound comes on] and I think 'aww no'". Maisie added that the build up to going on stage is "the worst part" of the entire process, leading Max to nod his head in agreement.

Maisie, who will also join Max on tour, said her time on the show was amazing and an experience she'll never forget. She said: "Since I could walk and talk I've always wanted to perform but I never knew I was capable of doing anything like this. Learning all these amazing styles of dances has felt incredible. Two years later and I'm doing a Strictly tour!"
Max admitted it took the producers several times to get him in their line-up as the premise was "out of his comfort zone." He added: "I'll be honest, with lockdown, there was one conversation I had with one of the girls and she said 'there's so many people at home and all we want is for you to put a smile on peoples faces' and I can't say no to that."
