Tom Parker has been hailed as a "hero" by his The Wanted bandmates after appearing on stage during their penultimate tour performance in Liverpool.
The 33-year-old singer was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in 2020 and shared the news in October of that year.
He is now in a wheelchair as the tumour has left him too weak to stand but he has been joining his bandmates during their UK tour in recent weeks.
Max George paid tribute to his close friend and bandmate as well as sharing pics of them all relaxing at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
Emotions were running high as well with Tom's wife Kelsey bringing their children Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, one, to watch him perform.
Captioning a black and white photo of him with Tom, Max wrote on Instagram : "It's been an epic few weeks… One last show my boy…
"You are a true hero mate. Can't wait for the next tour with you…Liverpool… Can you hear us???!"
This is not the first time that Tom has praised for appearing on stage with the band, as Max hailed him on Instagram on Friday, accompanying a snap of Tom with them as they waved to the crowd.
Tom looked relaxed and happy as he gave a peace sign to the camera, with Max captioning the post: "I mean... come on."
The Wanted Reunion tour had seen Max join Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes once again with Tom announcing that he would have to pull out on the eve of the tour.
He has since been receiving treatment in a specialist clinic in Spain and after three weeks away from the band, he made his emotional return at the end of last week.
Tom surprised fans by appearing on stage in Bournemouth before joining the band again in Cardiff, where he sang while sitting on a gold throne.
