The Walking Dead boss says "there's nothing but possibility" for the franchise as he teases new spin-offs: "Robert Kirkman pitched the comic as 'the zombie movie that never ends', we want to keep doing that"

The Walking Dead may have concluded almost three years ago now, but the franchise's chief content officer Scott Gimple has no plans to shut the long-running horror down for good just yet.

In a new interview with GamesRadar+, the writer-producer recalled how Robert Kirkman, author of The Walking Dead graphic novels, originally pitched them as 'the zombie movie that never ends' back in the early 2000s – a concept that Gimple and the behind-the-scenes team are keen to continue exploring on the small screen.
