The viral moment Prince George tells dad William he's 'too hot' in suit and tie

With temperatures rising as high as 30C at Wimbledon, and as the heatwave continues to rock the nation, a video has surfaced of young Prince George clearly feeling the warmth during the tennis tournament final.

The clip shows George telling dad William that he was ‘too hot’ in his suit after The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived during the 14th day of the tournament at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club with their eldest son.

In a video shot just after the trio arrived, Prince William can be heard asking George if he "is okay" and to which he replied saying he's "too hot".

As reported by The Daily Mirror , Kate Middleton then headed to George’s side to comfort him by reassuring him that they mostly watch the matches in the shade.

The eight-year-old prince was beaming with excitement as he watched Nick Kyrgios battle Novak Djokovic for the title in the Royal Box with his family.

Dressed in a navy suit and tie, George arrived without siblings Charlotte and Louis while Kate, a patron of the All England Club, and William greeted a group of military personnel who are working as stewards at the championship, while young George was asked who he was supporting.

The youngster seemed too shy to answer when William looked at him and whispered: “Djokovic” and added: “We’ll see how long it lasts. He’ll support the winner.”

Watching from the Royal Box, George was seen also covering his head with his hands as he peered on anxiously during the early stages of the intense match.

Royal fans, who followed the family’s highly publicised Wimbledon appearance, had plenty to say on Twitter, particularly in the wake of Kyrgios’ outburst.

One user tweeted: "The little Prince George was not impressed with all the swear words from Nick. His expression got me laughing so hard earlier."

Another concurred by chiming in: "These constant foul-mouthed tirades by Nick Kyrgios at #WimbledonFinal right in front of the Royal Box and young 8-year-old Prince George are a disgrace. Hope he gets fined big time."
