He was notoriously accident prone on Dancing on Ice back in January.
Now The Vamps star Connor Ball has been hospitalised in Italy after drunkenly tumbling off a trampoline in the sea while on holiday with his bandmates.
Connor had to have three stitches in his chin – but of course, he immediately started drinking again once doctors patched him up.
“It was just stupidity,” he says. “I was having too much of a good time, and I’d had a few drinks.
“There was a trampoline in the sea, and I thought it would be a good idea to backflip off of it.
“My knee went into my face – it split open my chin. It’s symmetrically the other side to where I cut open my chin on Dancing on Ice – I’m going to have two identical scars.”
Connor, 26, had five stitches in his chin during his stint on the ITV series.
He also dislocated a shoulder and injured his knee in a spate of accidents.
This time, bandmate Brad Simpson attempted to reassure his pal the damage wasn’t too bad – despite them both being covered in blood. Brad had to hold my chin together – he could see the bone,” recalls Connor.
“There was blood all over me, and all over him.
“I went to hospital and they stitched it up, but I carried on bleeding all through the night.
“We carried on the celebrations, so my blood was pretty thin.”
The group are on a band holiday – their first ever as a group, ahead of their 10th anniversary Greatest Hits tour across the UK and Ireland starting in November.
“There’s blood all over my bed,” groaned Connor. “We’re in an Airbnb – I don’t think we’ll be invited back.”
Well on a lad’s holiday things were always going to get a bit messy..
