There was a well known face from the world of TV in the crowd to see The Vamps delight a packed audience in the South Shields sun on Sunday afternoon, with a Love Island star amongst the fans who flocked to see them.
The boyband, who have scored charts hits with the likes of Can We Dance and Somebody to You, were the first headliners of this year's South Tyneside Festival, having played the same event five years ago. Brad, Connor, James and Tristin attracted a massive crowd to their Bents Park concert, with local acts Lauren Amour and The Waiters joining them on the bill.
The group performed for over an hour, delighting their captive audience with songs like Cecilia, Last Night, Wild Heart and Middle of the Night and among the people who managed to get a prime spot down the front to see Brad get very close to the crowd was Love Island 2022 star Jazmine Nichol.

Newcastle night club manager Jazmine, was a bombshell for last year's Casa Amor twist, but sadly didn't make it into the main villa, after failing to turn any of the boys' heads. She took to her Instagram story on Sunday afternoon, to upload a video of Brad singing right in front of her and captioned the clip: 'A funny little afternoon' with Brad then sharing the video on his own Insta story.
Some people started queuing up at the Bents Park gates early on Sunday morning, with some there even before 7am to make sure they got in in good time and got near the barrier.
On Sunday, June 16 it will be Jason Donovan's turn to headline, before Bjorn Again do the honours on July 23 and Boyzlife wrap things up on the 30th.
