Star of The Vampire Diaries Ian Somerhalder has revealed his most embarrassing moment on set.
The star appeared at Liverpool Comic Con alongside other actors from the series, including Paul Wesley and Joseph Morgan. During a panel with Paul, he spoke about the funniest moment behind-the-scenes on the show, when the crew showed up wearing matching t-shirts with a picture of him on them.
The Vampire Diaries was a TV show that followed Elena, played by Nina Dobrev, a high-schooler caught in a love triangle between Stefan and Damon, two vampire brothers played by Paul and Ian. The cast now regularly appear at events like Liverpool Comic Con, where fans travel from far and wide to see their favourite actors.

Ian said: "I will admit when I was a very young model, there was a very well-known photographer that took some photos of me with my bare buttocks exposed. Then, when I was on the set of Vampire Diaries, I was chained to a chair, and I'm in character as best I can be, and I look up and half the crew are in these white t-shirts.
"And it's me, and I look up, and I'm like 'wait, that's me', and there's a picture on all of these t-shirts, of me naked. I remember our unit production manager was so furious, she was like 'take those t-shirts off now!' because it was like an insurance nightmare.
"It was the funniest thing ever, because I was so in character, I was like 'Uncle Mason is trying to kill me' and I look up and they're all wearing these t-shirts with me naked. It was freaking genius."
People in the comments were loving the hilarious story. Most had the same thought, as one person said: "I need that shirt" and another said: "where can I get that t-shirt".
Others loved the dynamic between the on-screen brothers. One person said: "They compliment each other so well" and another said: "Love these guys".
