With the warmer weather still on the go, heading to the beach is the natural option – however, when you have a pet dog, you also want to make sure they can enjoy it two. Thankfully, two beautiful, and popular, beaches close to Edinburgh have just been named among the most dog-friendly in the UK.
The research, which was conducted by ShowersToYou.co.uk and sought to find the highest-rated dog-friendly beaches in the UK by analysing Google ratings and reviews for 151 beaches with no dog restrictions, found that Yellowcraig and Seacliff in East Lothian were among the top 10 best.
Placing sixth in the overall list with a score of 8.62, Yellowcraig finished just above Seacliff in eighth with a score of 8.35. Both beaches were recently named among the best in Scotland.
