After all of the excitement which came with the arrivals of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira, it's left much of the Arsenal fanbase wanting more before the window closes in just over two weeks' time.
However, much of the club's focus remains on outgoings after spending £120m so far. Five new signings and the return of several loanees meant that Mikel Arteta's squad became bloated. There were and still are several players that are not in the manager's plans and so sought a move elsewhere which provided technical director Edu with yet another challenge.
It took a while before things picked up the pace, but Nuno Tavares' move to Marseille at the end of last month kickstarted a number of loan and permanent departures. Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari, Lucas Torreira, Folarin Balogun and Alex Runarsson have all left since, with more expected to follow.
