Sir Mo Farah reveals in a new BBC documentary that he was brought into the UK illegally under the name of another child, saying: "The truth is I'm not who you think I am."
The four-time Olympic champion, knighted in 2017, says he needs to tell his real story 'whatever the cost' in the documentary titled The Real Mo Farah - revealing he was born Hussein Abdi Kahin. He goes on to reveal in the documentary that his father was murdered in Somaliland and he became separated from his mother.
The father-of-four, 39, who recently announced his withdrawal from this year's Great Manchester Run, citing fitness and performance issues, says: "Most people know me as Mo Farah but its not my name or it's not the reality.
