Never mind a 'parting gift, the BBC are giving fans of The Traitors the est present to start the year with as they have confirmed that the American version of the hit show will launch on iPlayer in its entirety this weekend.
Rewind to two months ago and nobody, other than the cast and crew involved, had even heard of The Traitors, but that all changed when the BBC decided to launch the programme, with little fanfare right in the middle of the World Cup. After its first few episodes aired the buzz around the UK series of The Traitors went from being a little murmur to being one of the top trends on Twitter, as it became the word of mouth TV success of 2022.
The premise of the much talked about show is that members of the public work together to win a big cash prize, with the massive catch being that some of them were chosen to be Traitors on the first day of filming, tasked with 'murdering' their rivals, the Faithfuls on a near daily basis, with a viewing to stealing all the cash for themselves.
