Friday the thirteenth is unlucky for some, but it would seem fans of The Traitors are in luck as the BBC has just announced some major news. The popular reality television series, which burst onto screens for the first time just months ago and had viewers hooked, is returning with an American version tomorrow.
The UK edition, which was fronted by Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman, was a huge success and saw 22 strangers embroil in a game of backstabbing lies and deceit. For those unfamiliar, the contestants taking part had to complete missions together every episode to add money to a prize pot, however, hidden among them were traitors whose job it was to "murder" one of their fellow players every night.
Everyone else in the game was labelled a faithful. It was their job to detect who the traitors were and banish them from the game before they become their next victim. If there were any traitors left at the end of the show they got to steal all the money in the prize pot for themselves. You can see who the 2022 winners were here.
