Comic Relief viewers were thrilled with the sketch referencing the Traitors, which featured a host of celebrities including the show's host Claudia Winkleman and Dawn French.
The parody aired during the fundraising broadcast on Friday night (March 17) and featured a star-studded version of the popular BBC reality TV show which launched last year.
The sketch began with comedian Dawn pretending to be the original show's host. She announced: "I'm actually Claudia Winkleman - half woman, half fringe."
Hooded contestants sat around the table and proceeded to identify themselves, including presenter Alison Hammond, actor Danny Dyer and food writer Dame Mary Berry.
Maddy Smedley and Wilfred Webster - who appeared in the first series of the Traitors - also featured in the sketch, with her once again accusing him of being a traitor.
Claudia was later unveiled as the remaining hooded figure around the table and she went on to accuse Dawn of being the traitor among them.
The presenter commented: "You don’t sound like me, you're not as orange as me, and your wig is much, much better than mine".
Fans have since shared their thoughts on Twitter, with one viewer tweeting about the sketch: "Well that was just brilliant!" Another wrote: "The Traitors sketch was incredible."
"That Traitors skit was hilarious," said another. Whilst a third wrote alongside a laughing emoji: "The Traitors sketch is killing me". A fifth wrote: "Top tier #comicrelief sketch".
Another said: "Hahaha the Traitors sketch was amazing and I absolutely cackled at Dawn French as Claudia Winkleman with the curtain fringe".
Another said: "The Traitors sketch was worth waiting for. Brilliant." Whilst one wrote: "Dawn French as Claudia is already making me howl with the neck on her jumper getting bigger".
And it seemed that even those who haven't watched the original show found it amusing, with one person tweeting: "I've never seen the Traitors but that sketch was so funny".
It was announced towards the end of the fundraising programme that Comic Relief 2023 had raised more than £31 million through Red Nose Day.
The charity later tweeted: "What a night! We couldn't do this without you all, donating, watching and supporting. It's not over, and you can still make a difference to people who are living through the toughest times of their lives."
