The top Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of Gameweek 31

1. While the Tyne-Wear derby can be unpredictable, Sunderland’s poor away record – eight goals in 15 games – makes Newcastle’s Aaron Ramsdale (£4.8m) a good pick in goal.
2. Two defenders who should be on your radar are Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk (£6.3m) and Joachim Andersen (£4.5m) of Fulham.
3. Van Dijk has regularly secured DEFCON points this campaign and has also scored three time this season, while Andersen appears to be a solid clean sheet option against a Burnley side who have struggled for goals all season.
4. Another Fulham pick this week if the free-scoring Harry Wilson (£6m). The Welshman has scored nine times this season and was instrumental in Marco Silva’s side securing all three points in December’s reverse fixture.
5. Brentford’s Igor Thiago (£7.3m) is the final selection. He celebrated a call-up to the Brazil squad with a goal against West Ham on Monday – his 19th league goal of the campaign.
