This charity and non-profit coffee shop aims to help with issues such as mental health and homelessness while also providing delicious coffee and brunch. Out of 358 reviews, a whopping 345 gave the cafe five stars.
The hidden gem has been described by customers as having the most 'perfect poached eggs' and a huge selection of brunch dishes (including an impressive array of vegan dishes) freshly brewed coffees, fruit juice and smoothies - all served at reasonable prices by their super friendly staff.
You can find Big Moose at 4-5 Frederick Street, Cardiff, CF10 2DB. They are open every day 10am-3:30pm except on Saturdays when they shut at 4pm.
2) Elmer's Take a Break cafe
This Cathays cafe has been rated number one for 'quick bites' in Cardiff and customers are raving about their 'epic fry-ups' at 'outstanding value'.
The cafe sells a range of full English breakfasts including vegetarian options. Hundreds of TripAdvisor users claim that it is the best breakfast they've ever had.
Other than their highly acclaimed fry-up for a fiver, Elmer's also sells omelettes, jacket potatoes and burgers.

3) Cafe Du Chat Noir
Situated in the heart of Roath, this bistro isn't your typical brunch place and offers a wide range of sublime brunch options, all inspired by France.

The brunch menu offers a full Brazilian breakfast of a pork sausage whirl, smoked bacon, egg, pan-fried baby tomatoes, adobo baked beans, hashbrown, avocado and toasted sourdough.
