Former NBA champion Chris Bosh has revealed new details about a life-threatening medical emergency that nearly claimed his life earlier this year, years after blood clots forced his premature retirement from professional basketball. Speaking about the incident, Bosh said he "almost dropped dead pretty much and came back to life," recalling a pulmonary embolism that required emergency medical care.
The experience has also prompted him to publicly encourage Victor Wembanyama, who has dealt with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), to remain diligent in managing his condition. According to an interview with HoopsHype, Bosh emphasized the importance of closely following medical advice and staying on top of prescribed treatment for blood-clotting disorders.
