The Swansea City player ratings as unsung hero excellent and others impress in Reading win

Swansea City pulled off a remarkable comeback to beat Reading 3-2 in a dramatic Championship encounter.

Here's how the Swans rated:

STEVEN BENDA 8

Not much he could do about Reading's two first-half goals, in fairness. Some very good work with his feet and helped keep Swansea on the ball. Commanded his box well throughout and never looked flustered.

NATHAN WOOD 7

Made plenty of tackles and defended well throughout. Got into advanced areas time and time again and was always slick in possession. Subbed at the break as Swansea looked for a way back into the match.

HARRY DARLING 8

Certainly had his shirt pulled by Yakou Meite in the build-up to Reading's second but will still be frustrated with his defending. Fine header to get Swansea back into the contest, his third goal of the campaign. Some great interventions in the second half to help Swansea see it out.

BEN CABANGO 8

The Welshman was solid defensively and was able to play so high up the pitch, such was Swansea's dominance of the ball. A really good showing following a tough day at Burnley.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 7

Some frustrating moments for the right wing-back who regularly struggled to produce the quality needed in the final third. Pressed well, though, and was defensively sound and played a part in Swansea's leveller.

JAY FULTON 8

Comfortable enough in the middle of the park given the vast majority of his work was in possession. Sublime hit to win it for Swansea. Big, big shift from the Scot.

MATT GRIMES - star man 8

The captain saw so much of the ball and was pivotal to Swansea's attacking play. Got the assist for Darling's header and was instrumental in all of Swansea's best work.

MATTY SORINOLA 7

A few flashes from the left wing-back who had some moments of slick link-up play with Ollie Cooper. Solid enough.

OLLIE COOPER 8

Worked his socks off defensively to keep Swansea on top and used his energy to put miles into the legs of the Reading players. In the right place to notch his second goal to equalise.

LUKE CUNDLE 7

The Wolves loanee started brightly and looked confident in possession. For long spells, he looked the most likely to create something. Impressive display.

MICHAEL OBAFEMI 7

Drew a fine save from Joe Lumley early on and played a key role in Swansea's press. Some decent flashes but couldn't get that crucial end product, despite some promising moments.

Subs

Armstrong Oko-Flex (for Wood) - Gave Swansea a much-needed threat out wide, with his pace causing the Reading defence problems. 7

Kyle Naughton (for Cundle) - Some timely interventions as Swansea saw out the game. 6

Fin Stevens (for Oko-Flex) - Helped his side see out the game. N/A

Olivier Ntcham (for Cooper) - Too late to make an impact. N/A

Liam Cullen (for Obafemi) - As above. N/A
