Barafundle Bay has been named as one of the UK's most photogenic picnic spots in a new poll. The beach boasts beautiful scenery and some consider it one of the best in the UK. In 2017, it was even recognised as one of the world's best beaches by Passport Magazine.
The Pembrokeshire beach attracts visitors from across the globe and it is often likened to a Caribbean resort due to its golden sand, clear waters and idyllic location. Barafundle Bay is only accessible by walking half a mile from the nearest car park. It is, however, worth the walk as it is also right next to the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
For the keen walker there is also rocky cliffs with fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Film fans will no doubt recognise the cliffs of Barafundle Bay in the 2010 film, Third Star, which featured Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Bonneville.
