We all know by now that Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have split after one year of marriage with Sam officially filing for divorce this week.
While TMZ reported that Sam’s lawyer Neal Hersh had plans to contest the prenup, another rep for Sam, Brandon Cohen, told The Hollywood Reporter that he has no plans of that nature.
“There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos,” Cohen told the publication.
“However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her.”
Despite this statement, there has been one surprising person who has had Brit’s best interest at heart all along: Octavia Spencer.
Turns out, the queen actually kinda warned us ~and~ Brit back when she first announced her engagement and now she’s speaking out in support of Britney, based on the initial reporting from TMZ and Page Six.
