The stars of BBC's Being Human whose glittering careers were launched by the UK answer to Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Being Human was a supernatural show that looked at what life would have been like if a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost tried to live together. After five series between 2008 and 2013, including a total recast later, the show brought many of its stars to the attention of the nation.

Originally starting out in Totterdown, Bristol, the show won many fans with its horror-comedy mix and, from the third series, moved location to Barry Island and was set at the fictional B&B Honolulu Heights. The show was so successful over here in the UK that it was taken and remade for the American market which aired for four seasons, although most fans would say that the British one was far superior.

Alongside the third series, an online spin-off was made - Becoming Human - starring Craig Roberts. The house that doubled for Honolulu Heights even went up for sale back in 2014, amid a fan-led campaign to buy the property and restore it However, they were unable to raise the money for the sale. Below we look at what happened to the stars and catch up with what they are doing now.
