Sony FX5 "confirmed" for July –and it's gunning for Canon with 5K open gate video and TRIPLE-BASE ISO

UPDATE: Specifications continue to leak for the Sony FX5 – and it's looking more and more like a camera that's gunning for Canon, featuring technology appearing for the first time in a Sony camera.

We already knew that the FX5 would shoot 5K open gate video, but the latest report reveals that it will also possess triple-base ISO – both features making their Sony debut.
