The solid Swansea City player ratings at QPR as captain impresses and defender continues rich vein of form

BEN HAMER 7

The vast majority of his work came with his feet while he - despite the offside flag being up - made a superb save to deny Charlie Austin. Great stop to keep out Lyndon Dykes' effort late on too. Another clean sheet.

BEN CABANGO 7

Made plenty of defensive interventions and used his strength to great effect on numerous occasions. The Welshman is in a good vein of form right now.

KYLE NAUGHTON 7

very good display at the heart of Swansea's back three from the experienced defender who was as good as ever in possession.

RYAN MANNING 7

Lining up against his former employers, Manning was so composed throughout and regularly made sure he was in the right place at the right time.

CYRUS CHRISTIE 7

Got forward well and looked dangerous when cutting in from the right flank. Used his experience to nullify some QPR attacks too.

FLYNN DOWNES 5

Typically slick on the ball when Swansea controlled possession. Lost his head in the second half though and picked up two bookings that led to a red card after falling into traps set by Charlie Austin. Mark would and should have been better but for that naivety.

MATT GRIMES - Star Man 7

Showed plenty of confidence to help Swansea get up the pitch. The captain was very impressive going forwards and did stacks of defensive work as well.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 6

Made a few rash challenges in the first half as he tried to get to grips with Moses Odubajo. Wasn't able to offer much in attacking areas, but was decent in possession in fairness. Missed a good chance in the second half.

KOREY SMITH 6

The midfielder made a couple of decent defensive interventions and helped Christie to carry a threat on the right. Fired wide in the second half but was solid throughout.

HANNES WOLF 6

The Austrian did some good defensive work on what was his first start for the club. Set-pieces didn't come off, although that will no doubt improve as he gets up to full speed. Withdrawn.

JOEL PIROE 6

Some good hold up play, although he had nothing in the way of chances in front of goal until he was brilliantly denied by David Marshall in the second half. Subbed.

Subs

Michael Obafemi (for Piroe) - Some decent flashes and thought he had won it late on, but was very unfortunate to be offside. 6

Jay Fulton (for Wolf) - Some good pressure in the QPR half at times. Wasn't overly worked in truth. 6
