The first ever Uber Eats awards have been announced and one small restaurant in Cardiff has made the cut. Sushi Life, which is based on Wellfield Road in Roath, has been nominated for the Restaurant of the Year award, and will be competing with others from throughout the UK.
Earlier this year the public nominated some of their favourite local spots across the UK and Ireland and the shortlist has now been unveiled, representing the most highly rated and most popular restaurants that each area has to offer. Being a hit for both takeaway lovers and people who enjoy heading out for a bite to eat, Sushi Life is an affordable sushi-based spot which showcases amazing fresh food.
And reviews for the small restaurant reflect why it's in line for a national award. "Best sushi ever!," one person wrote on Tripadvisor. "Great value for money, couldn’t fault it at all! Thank you for this! So tasty you need to try it!" Another wrote: "Amazing sushi, tasted lush! The food came out so quickly, nice cosy venue and good service. Great wine also which went down a treat."
