Arsenal have been linked with a summer transfer move for Wolves' Ruben Neves, with the midfielder valued between £25-£35million by CIES.
Wolves boss Bruno Lage has been quoted saying he wants £80m for the Portugal star, but this has not deterred Mikel Arteta's side from pursuing the midfielder.
Neves has riled up Gunners fans this season when he said 'we saw the way they celebrated the win and that shows the level we are,' after February's 1-0 win for Arsenal against Wolves. "I didn't see Arsenal celebrating like this in the past 10 years - it was like they won the league," he said.

However, Neves is still a great player and to go alongside his name, some supporters would also be keen to sport his shirt number. But what shirt number would he claim if he was to join Arsenal?
Currently wearing 8 at Wolves, that would not be an option at the Emirates Stadium as it's currently being worn by Martin Odegaard, with the attacking midfielder having no plans to give it up anytime soon. If anything, his position in the squad could be empowered further if he is to be made the permanent captain next season.
For national side Portugal, Neves wears 18 but that is also occupied at Arsenal, with last year's summer signing Takehiro Tomiyasu donning 18.
At Porto, Neves wore the number 6 shirt but that is another number unavailable in north London, with Gabriel being given the shirt when he joined in 2020.
With only 2 and 12 available, it's unlikely Neves takes on either shirt. It's possible that Tomiyasu takes on a more traditional number for a right back which vacates 18 for an incoming Neves, though
This leaves Neves with potentially choosing a number he hasn't donned in senior football since he made his debut for Porto - 36. In the 2013-14 season, the 25-year-old made his senior debut in the Liga Portugal and was handed the number 36. The number is available at Arsenal and could be a nice throwback for the player, as well as a sense of familiarity.
He could also choose 28 as it allows him to keep an 8 on his back, with 38 taken by youngster Miguel Azeez.
