Lisa and Louise Burns, who played the Grady daughters in hit 1980 psychological horror film The Shining, were among the devoted people to queue for hours to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The twin sisters, 54, took to their joint social media accounts to document their long wait in the English capital as they embarked on a number of landmarks in a lying-in-state queue, which was five miles long.
The Queen had been lying in state for four full days and the screen stars opted to join the lengthy queue on the final full day of Sunday, with the final visit to see Her Majesty's coffin being on Monday morning at 6.30am before the funeral.
The pair made an early start for a queue, which had been waiting for as long as 19 hours before getting to Westminster Hall, with Lisa and Louise posting a photo of their green wristbands at 12.33pm on Sunday with the caption: "In the Queue! To view the Queen Lying in State."
On Instagram, the sisters had sunglasses on as they posed for an earlier snap opposite the Big Ben Tower but the start of their long journey to pay their respects to the late monarch had only just began.
They smiled in front of Tower Bridge before the pair had snaked their way around London and updated their 7,000 Twitter followers by saying: "Only a few more hours!" after four hours in the famous queue as they saw the Palace of Westminster once again.
The acting duo were spotted by fans as they shared a photo on Instagram of the two signing a person's white Converse trainers whilst in the queue, while adding a video of the flag swaying in the breeze at Westminster Hall.
Their final photo before Monday's funeral was a sunset-kissed Parliament Square as their vigil to bow their heads for Her Majesty appeared to come to an end on Sunday evening.
The Burns sisters were not the only celebrities to join the hours-long queue as former England captain David Beckham joined the thousands waiting to see the late monarch lying in-state at Westminster Hall.
In fact, the 47-year-old star joined the lengthy lines in the early hours of the morning to personally pay tribute. David was overcome with emotion as he neared the coffin alongside members of the public on Friday afternoon.
Others such as musician James Blunt, actress Tilda Swinton, Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid and Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Neil Jones were among those to bade their time in the famous London queue.
