Jabal re Rahmah, also known as the Mount of Mercy, holds immense significance in Islamic tradition. Located in the plain of Arafat, just outside of Mecca, it is an essential part of the Hajj pilgrimage. Every year, millions of Muslims gather here on the 9th day of the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah to perform the most important ritual of the pilgrimage, known as the Stand at Arafat. It is during this momentous occasion that pilgrims spend a day in prayer and reflection, seeking forgiveness and mercy from Allah.
