Ryan Kent could be the difference maker for Rangers when it comes to this Sunday's blockbuster Viaplay Cup final.
That is the view of Ibrox hero Barry Ferguson who says the winger's new 'free role' under Michael Beale has thus far proved better results with goals and assists and that the clash at Hampden presents a big chance for the former Liverpool man to prove doubters wrong. Kent's contractual future remains a mystery but the 26-year-old has played an integral part under Michael Beale.
And the winger netted when the two sides last met at Ibrox in January, having previously scored against Celtic at Parkhead under Steven Gerrard. Ferguson insists that while Ange Postecoglou's side have a wealth of quality, that Kent can be 'dangerous' when the lights are on bright this weekend.

He told Go Radio: "I am being respectful when I am saying this. Kyogo, Jota, Daizen Maeda, Aaron Mooy for me has been Celtic's best player after the World Cup break, Callum McGregor is the driving force, Reo Hatate.
"Rangers will have their work cut out and they will have to be at their best. But as I said, Rangers have started to gain some strength in depth and players have started to find a bit of form.
"One player jumps out, Ryan Kent. He's now scored a few more goals, more assists, and he looks more dangerous in that free role Michael Beale has created.
"Both sets of teams play an attacking style. That is why I think there will be gaps at the back and goals in the game."
