You would figure winning a game thanks to a walk-off balk would be an occurrence once in a season, maybe once every five years or so.
But twice? In one season? Couldn’t be.
But it did happen to the Kansas City Royals … TWICE! On Tuesday, Gregory Santos was on the mound for the Chicago White Sox in the bottom of the ninth and the bases loaded. He tried to quick pitch Edward Olivares … but you have to come set before you throw to the plate if men are on.
That’s right. WALK OFF BALK TIME BABY!
