Signs placed on a busy Cardiff junction have been deemed dangerous by road users attempting to use the exit. The four signs have been placed on the corner of the junction between Highfield Road and Allensbank Road in the city.
Motorists have explained that the positioning has made it "very difficult to see and exit the junction" and worry they could cause an accident. The signs are enough to prevent road users from seeing both other vehicles and cyclists from both sides of the junction.
The temporary signs also cover a section of a busy pedestrian crossing. The signs are currently advising pedestrians of alternative routes due to closed footpaths up ahead, but could be placed elsewhere on the pavement to ensure road safety for those in the area. A spokesperson for Cardiff Council confirmed that the signs will be moved.
