A series of roadworks are due to take place in the North East this week - and this list will help drivers to plan their journeys ahead.
Some roads and streets are expected to be closed or will have temporary traffic measures in place. The information below will help motorists to factor in these closures and change their travel arrangements if necessary.
Diversion routes may also be in place in some areas, so people are urged to check if any of the works are likely to disrupt their journeys. These road closures are for the week running Monday, September 12, to Sunday, September 18.
