The Retirement Fight Couples Don’t See Coming Until They’re Home Together All Day
Retirement gives couples more time together, but shared time works best when both partners maintain personal interests, agree on household responsibilities, and leave room for independent routines – Shutterstock

Retirement can turn a perfectly happy marriage into a running debate about coffee mugs, thermostat settings, grocery trips, and who gets to decide what happens before noon. A few thoughtful adjustments can prevent those changes from turning ordinary disagreements into daily resentment.
