The Repair Shop star Jay, 53, refers to his father Trevor as "the man who contributed to my birth" as he doesn't see him as a father figure.

Trevor left Jay's mother Barbara and took all the family's money and The Repair Shop star has only spoken to Trevor four times in his life.
