Hundreds of tulips lined the ground outside the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay for a very good reason. The flowers have been placed on streets of five UK cities as a way of thanking the public for supporting charitable causes.
Benefact Group is giving away more than £1million to charities with the return of its scheme called Movement for Good Awards.
To mark the occasion, thousands of the brightly coloured tulips with hand-written thank you notes have appeared in five cities across the UK - Gloucester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Birmingham and London.
