The reason Taylor Swift got a hand cramp during the Eras Tour in Edinburgh

Partway through her performance of a mashup of “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” and “I know Places” during the surprise song portion of her Eras Tour setlist, Taylor Swift had to stop abruptly. The 14-time Grammy winner apologized, holding up her hand and explaining it was cramping.

The singer had stopped the song just before to ensure a fan got help in the crowd, and the pause may have had an impact in the cooler Scottish weather.

“I’m so sorry everyone, this has never happened before but my hand is frozen, I’m just going to warm it. I’m so embarrassed. My hand’s like a claw!” Swift told the crowd of 73,000 (reportedly the biggest stadium show in Scottish history).

Swift was able to continue the show with no more hand cramps, thankfully.
