The Queen's official time and cause of death revealed

Queen Elizabeth II passed away at her home in Balmoral after 3pm in the afternoon, according to official records released today.

The document released by National Records of Scotland noted the time of the Queen's death on Thursday, September 8, as 3.10pm.

The death certificate also revealed the cause of death to be old age.
