Queen Elizabeth II Westminster Abbey Westminster Prince of Wales Princess of Wales Chapel Royal Duke of York Edward Elgar Forfar Helen Cameron

Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest today as mourners around the world tune in to watch the monarch’s historic state funeral service.

The Order of Service has now been published for members of the public wishing to pay their respects. The service will include a selection of prayers, recitals, hymns and songs all chosen by the Queen herself as her personal favourites.

Before the service the tenor bell will toll every minute for 96 minutes, one minute for each year of Her Majesty’s life, The Mirror reports . The funeral will then begin at Westminster Abbey at 11am, followed by a second service at St George’s Chapel at 4pm.
