For many it would be a dream come true to work inside the walls of Buckingham Palace - and you could be in luck of seeing how the other half live as the Queen is hiring a live-in housekeeper.
However, you might not fancy it once you see the advertised pay.
According to the Royal Family website, there is a long application process that goes with each job, as well as vigorous security checks.

The website says: “In order to apply for a vacancy, you will either be a British citizen or you will have already obtained the legal right to work in the UK. Everyone who works for the Royal Household is security cleared. If successful, you will therefore go through our security vetting process.”
According to the job advert, the ideal candidate will 'aim for the highest standards' and 'enjoy working as part of team' and will be expected to take on a 40-hour working week at either Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle.
The role also offers the option to live-in with all meals provided (for which there is a salary adjustment) and 'learning from your colleagues, you’ll gain the specialist professional skills needed'.
However, the hourly rate, after the salary adjustment for accommodation is just £7.97 - £1.93 less than the UK's living wage.
Candidates have until 19 June to get their applications in, with interviews set to take place the following month.
