Frank Grillo, known for his role in The Purge: Anarchy, has shared exciting news about the upcoming horror sequel, The Purge 6. According to Grillo, the script for the final installment in the franchise is complete. The actor expressed his enthusiasm for the script, which centers around his character, Leo Barnes.
Grillo revealed that The Purge 6 will be directed by franchise creator James DeMonaco, who has crafted a storyline set in a dystopian America divided by ideology, sexuality, and religion. The film will explore a broken society where states are segregated based on these factors.
The Purge franchise, which began in 2013, has seen multiple sequels, with Grillo joining in 2014's The Purge: Anarchy and returning for 2016's The Purge: Election Year. While subsequent films have continued without Grillo, fans are eager to see his character make a comeback for the final chapter.
Grillo also has other projects in the works, including an action movie with Scott Adkins and a unique film blending The Purge concept with werewolves. Additionally, he is set to voice the character Rick Flag Sr. in James Gunn's DC Universe animated series, Creature Commandos.
