Delivery service Yodel has issued a series of postcodes it says it is struggling to deliver to in the run-up to Christmas. The service said that some postcodes are seeing delays at local depots which might mean it will take longer for parcels in these areas to be delivered.
They said that they are "experiencing some small delays" in areas up and down the country but that "teams are working really hard to deliver all of your parcels to you." There have been several delays to postal services and deliveries in the run-up to the festive period due to industrial action.
Royal Mail workers are striking due to a long-running dispute over pay, jobs and working conditions. On December 20, it was announced that striked on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 December, the 17th and 18th days of action in the dispute, would go ahead after an agreement was failed to be made.
