CarPoint has turned a Porsche 944 into something Porsche itself never built: a wagon. The German outfit's GT-K44 stretches the coupe's roofline into a proper shooting brake, and only 10 will exist.
The project traces back to the Artz 924 Turbo Kombi, a wagon conversion Günter Artz built around 20 of in the early 1980s. CarPoint founder Andreas Freund owned one for months decades ago. The GT-K44 is his and designer Michael Söhngen's modern answer to it.
