The Piano as Glasgow Central Station to feature in new Channel 4 show

This week all eyes will be on Glasgow Central Station as Channel 4's The Piano takes cameras to the city station.

Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the show is on the look out for the UK's best amateur piano performers across UK train stations. And in the end, the winner will play at the Royal Festival Hall.

Two episodes from the talent show have already aired with St Pancras and Leeds having found their unique and talented performers to represent them. And now this week, they're coming to Glasgow. Here is what you need to know if you want to catch the show.

Where can I watch the Glasgow episode of Channel 4's The Piano?

The Glasgow episode will air on Wednesday March 1 at 9pm. You can watch it LIVE on Channel 4 or watch it on catch up via their website at a later date.

What Channel 4's The Piano about?

Hosted by the legendary Claudia Winkleman, musician Mika, and renowned pianist Lang Lang join her to listen and watch incredible UK pianists from across the UK showcase their talent at busy railway stations - including our very own Glasgow Central Station.

The brand-new TV talent competition aims to find four of the UK’s top amateur pianists, before crowning the winner.

Contestants range from ages six years old to 95 - and their performances are nothing short of breath-taking.

How many episodes are there of Channel 4's The Piano

There are five episodes with the third one set to air this week. Each week, one episode will air with four stations being showcased. This includes London St Pancras, Birmingham New Street, Leeds and Glasgow Central.
