What you need to know
- Blizzard Entertainment has released patch notes for the April Fools' Day update to Overwatch 2, detailing balance changes in a limited-time game mode called "Balanced Overwatch." You'll find the patch notes in the section at the bottom of this article.
- The mode makes dramatic and sweeping changes to Overwatch's heroes, including comical ability reworks, wild damage buffs and nerfs, and even tweaks that make some characters much bigger or smaller than they are normally.
- The Balanced Overwatch event features some special challenges as well, and completing them will reward players with special sprays made from Blizzard developer doodles.
- Balanced Overwatch will only be available from now until April 8, so if you want to experience the wacky mode and earn those silly sprays, make sure you do so before then.
