The One Show 's Alex Jones has delighted fans with her latest update. The Welsh presenter, who hails from Ammanford, is returning to screens after a break for the summer.
During her time off Alex has been enjoying family getaways with her husband Charlie Thomson and their three children Kit, Teddy and Annie. The 45-year-old shared updates of their travels in both Greece and The Cotswolds during her four-week break from screens.
And now in a new update, Alex has confirmed she will be returning to television on Tuesday, August 30. She told her 339k Instagram followers on bank holiday Monday: "The last day of summer holidays before I go back to work.
"We've packed a lot into the last 4 weeks. Hope you've had a good bank holiday and I’ll see you on the telly tomorrow."
Alex's return comes after she told her fans that life had "been a bit challenging" in a candid post. In the message shared on July 26, Alex wrote: "Things have been a bit tricky for us recently and in all honesty, I haven’t had time to be on here between working and the children but I randomly logged on and saw all your lovely messages gently asking if we were all ok.
"I was touched by your kindness and so I just wanted to check in and say thank you, and that even though life has been a bit challenging, we are ok and still managing to enjoy the beginning of the holidays and there's still plenty to smile about! (I'll pop some stuff on my stories) #whenlifegivesyoulemons #thekindnessofstrangers." You can read more on this here.
