The actor’s choice to wear a dark turtleneck under a black blazer at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards almost gave her the “ick,” she admitted. Blunt, who plays Emily Charlton in The Devil Wears Prada 2, said she usually has a “full organ rejection” to turtlenecks, but Krasinski’s sleek, Michael Caine-inspired look changed her mind.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 28, Blunt didn’t hold back when she described her initial reaction to Krasinski’s outfit pitch. According to Us Weekly, she said, “When John pitched me this outfit and he was like, ‘And it’s a turtleneck,’ I had to compose my face into, like, impassive, ‘Oh, that sounds great,’ you know?” she said.
