British theatre's most prestigious stage award show, The Olivier Awards, is back with a packed night of nominations and performances April 10.
Housed in the Royal Albert Hall in London, the award show will mark its 46th anniversary this year. Returning as host is comedian Jason Manford who has presented the show four times since 2017. The 2022 ceremony will be returning after a two-year hiatus due to covid restrictions.
The night is always jam-packed with guest stars and performances as the evening brings more of a glitz and camp feel compared to other award shows. Previous stand out performances included the cast of Mamma Mia performing an ABBA medley in 2014 and The Rocky Horror Picture Show group with their rendition of Time Warp in 1991.

The acts this year promise to live up to the show-stopping hype with performances from the three Magic Radio Best Musical Revival nominees; Anything Goes, Cabaret and Spring Awakening - plus a performance from Life Of Pi, which is nominated in nine categories including Best New Play. All five Mastercard Best New Musical nominees will also be performing at the ceremony, including Back To The Future - The Musical, The Drifters Girl, Frozen, Get Up Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
