Business leaders and employees from across the North West have been named in the New Years Honours list 2023.
The co-founders of Didsbury Gin have been recognised for their work producing hand sanitiser during the Covid-19 pandemic while Sam Davys also made the list for services to young people and to inclusion in digital industries. She is one of the youngest recipients of an MBE this year.
Speaking about her award, Sam Davys said: "I'm in disbelief and over the moon to receive this award. I loved every minute of working on project kickstart and to know I played a small part in changing young people’s lives by giving them their first opportunity in work means a great deal to me."
