There’s one Leeds pub landlord who doesn’t take any nonsense from "undesirables" who are causing troubling.
“Once you’re barred, you’re barred,” warns The Scarbrough Hotel gaffer Toby Flint, who doesn’t mind rolling up his own sleeves and dealing with mouthy customers himself, rather than letting security handle it.
The pub, colloquially known as The Scarbrough Taps, has been operating on Bishopgate Street in the city centre since 1826. Its name derives from original landlord Henry Scarbrough and not the seaside town.
