The Nigella Lawson cookbooks to dive into after her debut as a Great British Bake Off judge

Nigella Lawson has written a dozen cookbooks since 1998 - (The Independent/Vintage Publishing)

Starting last night, the 2026 series of The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) saw Nigella Lawson replacing Prue Leith as a judge. Joining Paul Hollywood in sampling the creations offered up by this year’s batch of star-bakers-in-waiting, Lawson brings decades of culinary expertise to the Bake Off tent.

Since 1998, Lawson has penned a dozen cookbooks – several of which have been accompanied by popular TV cookery programmes, such as Nigellissima. The self-described home cook has also been a judge on MasterChef Australia and on Channel 4’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cookery competition The Taste.
