The New York Times Drops Freelancer After AI-Generated Book Review Copies Guardian

The New York Times severs ties with journalist Alex Preston after he was found to have used AI in book review, which copied The Guardian's words (Credit: Faber)

The resulting text contained phrases and thematic observations nearly identical to those in a review by Christobel Kent, published by The Guardian in August.
